User talk:Touchon
Hi,
You seem to be a new user. Welcome to wikipedia. Regarding the new page you have created, there already exists a page on De Stijl. In such a case, it is the practice to have one article/ page only by merging the content of the two pages and after that creating a redirect from the page with the lesser known title to the page with the better known title. You could do it yourself, if you need any help feel free to ask. KRS 16:19, 15 May 2004 (UTC)
Cecil Touchon
[edit]Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Cecil Touchon may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. TigerShark 02:38, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for checking in I am still working on the page. So what constitutes 'noteable'? Cecil Touchon is mentioned in wikipedia here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massurrealism I am just attempting to put a page for the like Cecil Touchon to go to. Perhaps I could request that you write an appropriate article?
License tagging for Image:Fuxnexuslogo01.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Fuxnexuslogo01.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:04, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
Big Zeus
[edit]A tag has been placed on Big Zeus, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Nenyedi 20:54, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
