[edit]Um, this is linked to List of Westerns authors - did this chap really write Westerns as well? Djnjwd 12:50, 14 May 2004 (UTC)
- The linker was confused; this guy is a Western author, not an author of westerns.

This page is totally hopelessly POV. It should speak of his accomplishments, not ramble on about how incredibly wonderful he is. I cite a disgustingly terrible POV piece:
the History also features one of the most staggering, beyond-belief erudition to be ever found in any writer on the field of Literature. It would scare even the most broadly-read critics such as Harold Bloom.
I don't know enough about the topic to fix it in the best way possible. Someone please help with this.

- Update: no one took on the task, so I decided to attempt it myself. There are remnants, but I think I got most of the POV. I went ahead and removed the tag.

- Thanks. I'm still not sure about the factual accuracy of some things (including all those peripatetic studies). RodC 13:47, 26 Jun 2004 (UTC)
