Paul Ron was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was speedy delete. - Ta bu shi da yu 08:13, 20 Nov 2004 (UTC) A nonsensical attack on one Ron Paul. The article being VFD'd takes content from the original article and adds to it wild accusations of misconduct. Essentially, it's a political attack. Delete. - Vague Rant 12:15, Nov 15, 2004 (UTC)
- Comment, seems like a notable person. Surely this page contains some salvagable info? Maybe it should be changed and/or protected. I don't think VfD'ing is the solution. [[User:MacGyverMagic|Mgm|(talk)]] 12:29, Nov 15, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, sure he's a notable person, but as Vague rant pointed out above, the article just copies stuff from the (correctly named) Ron Paul article and adds some insulting nonsense. No reason to keep or merge or anything. -- Ferkelparade π 15:42, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, vandalism spreading out from the Ron Paul edit wars, presumably because that page was protected at the time Paul Ron was created. Blatant enough that it ought to be a speedy. — mendel ☎ 15:58, Nov 15, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: Worthless. Geogre 16:54, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Hit piece. Unencyclopedic. Worthless as a redirect. Delete. - RedWordSmith 18:00, Nov 15, 2004 (UTC)
- Gah, we just had Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Ronny Paul on vfd (with special guest Ronato Paul!) for the same form of vandalism. Inclusionist and speedy-skeptical as I am, speedy delete. Samaritan 20:09, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete vandalism and consider subsequent articles as re-created deletia. Gazpacho 23:11, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Speedy delete. ... this again?! It's pretty much the same darn page as "Ronny Paul" last week! --Idont Havaname 00:11, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- I have redirected this article to Ron Paul. --Idont Havaname 01:16, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Seems to be no bloody point. Should speedy any further creations since this seems to be problematic. Reene (リニ) 04:22, Nov 16, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. POV nonsense. ElBenevolente 11:12, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- This was apparently created by a vandal with a fondness for creating sockpuppets in an attempt to continue mischief at another article name after Ron Paul was protected. I speed deleted it; it was the same as can be found in the Ron Paul edit history. -- Infrogmation 16:33, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)
