I have removed the {{prod}} tag which proposed that this article be deleted, because I think that this article has merit and so should not be deleted from Wikipedia. I'm leaving this message here as notification. the tone

I agree that whoever wrote this, thanky ou for the contribution; but does it seem too much of a narrative and less of a descriptive article?

It's also dreadfully incomplete. As it is, it's just a summary of the Silmarillion story. We need an account of its background as given in Sauron Defeated. dab (ᛏ) 09:23, 28 Mar 2005 (UTC)
