The title of this article is idiosyncratic and does not meet the guidelines set out in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. First of all, the article has just been copied from the article Elizabeth Resolutes and a few dates have been modified. Secondly, the parenthetical years is not at all standard. If you merely need to disambiguate the team from the MLB Oakland Athletics (who were previously known as the Philadelphia Athletics, and so have a redirect), the correct title would be Philadelphia Athletics (National Association). --DropDeadGorgias (talk) 18:13, Apr 11, 2005 (UTC)
