Faulty diagram in Mechanisms for propagating action potentials?

Hi all. There appears to be a problem with the annotated diagram associated with the section on Mechanisms for propagating action potentials. According to a scientist in a relevant field who contacted me, the text is fine but additional details provided in the diagram are wrong - the movement of ions isn't represented correctly, step 4 cannot follow step 3, etc. Also, it doesn't fit with the information in the Action potential article.

The user who built the illustration has been inactive for a long time. I think the best course of action is to remove the illustration unless someone can explain how it makes sense with the text. I'll wait about three days, to allow for discussion.
