The result of the debate was NO CONSENSUS. dbenbenn | talk 15:41, 4 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Non-notable vanity article. --Spinboy 20:55, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Delete, advertisement, mu*s inherently non-notable. 22 players online when I checked. —Korath (Talk) 21:45, Feb 17, 2005 (UTC)
- Delete, concur with supra. Ellsworth 23:25, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep, I believe that it is historically significant, and the article seems well formed. Should we remove Coca-Cola and Pepsi because those articles could be construed as "advertisement"? --Oarias 23:36, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Pepsi and Coca-Cola are notable. This mush is not. --Spinboy 23:44, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Well ok, but we know at least 22 (I assume living) people are involved with it. Who defines what is "notable" and "not-notable", or what will be so in the future? (Is there a number limit to "notable"?)There is some pretty obscure stuff in Wikipedia! I have no relation to this article BTW (not to mention that I feel that MUD's/MUSH's are pretty boring), but the article looked like it needs an advocate. <g> --Oarias 00:04, 18 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. Question: Who decides what is notable? Answer: the people voting on VfD, hopefully with some deference to past decisions. 22 people playing a game on-line is not notable at all. It might have had a lot more players in the past, or be important in the history of MUSH's in some way. But barring some evidence of this, it would seem to be not notable enough for an encyclopedia article --BM 00:50, 18 Feb 2005 (UTC)

- Week keep I would say that a MU* is certainly notable if it was one of the first of a series (e.g. DikuMUD, CircleMUD, TinyMUD). It may also be notable if it is very popular and/or has been around for a long time. Note that these criteria are subjective. I think Star Wars MUSH may be included on the latter criteria, but as the article was apparently written by one of its fans I'd like to have some substantiation on its popularity. - Btw even if the subject is decided to be notable, I feel that the article requires rewriting, as the lists of admins, planets and legends are not particularly encyclopedic. Radiant! 09:11, Feb 18, 2005 (UTC)
- Keep, but with reservations. Article needs rewrite and expansion. Megan1967 07:50, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)
