Relationship of thrips and other insects

[edit]

I removed the section on how thrips were related to other insects, and this needs to be rewritten. I will hopefully get round to it, but thought quick explanations are in order as to why I removed what was already here. The article as written presented a sister relationship between Thysanoptera and Phthiraptera + Liposcelididae, but the article cited as support for this does not. This topology is shown in Figure 3, but this is dismissed in the same paper: "the grouping of Thysanoptera with Phthiraptera, and Sternorrhyncha with Thysanoptera, Liposcelididae and Phthiraptera has no support from morphological data nor nuclear gene sequences, and therefore is most likely phylogenetic artifacts." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaficek (talkcontribs) 20:43, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

How to get rid of them?

[edit]

I would like to know how I can get rid of these bugs. They're in my curtains, my windows, and I don't want them to spread anywhere else. 2604:2D80:F488:A00:C8FB:CAD5:8474:F3D2 (talk) 06:04, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
