Family?
[edit]Certain Jure Bogataj is part of the Slovenian team that won bronze medal at the Nordic World Championship in Oberstdorf (plus, he won the continental cup game in Engelbert, 2004). Are they related? --romanm (talk) 19:47, 20 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- I got an e-mail from another person with the same surname, and he claims they are not related. --romanm (talk) 21:29, 20 May 2005 (UTC)
Addition to information
[edit]Can anyone else verify or provide specifics - I recall Mr. Bogataj doing an American Express credit card commercial many years ago. It was along the lines of 'You probably don't know my name, but you've seen me many times'. Then it cuts to 'fall' footage. Then his name is 'embossed' on an AmEx card one letter at a time. The commercial was how I first learned his real name - it had bothered me for years that I recognized many events used as the 'thrill of victory', but did not know who the 'agony of defeat' was!
I can't prove this claim; perhaps others can.

Birth date
[edit]The date is 1948, but there's a link at the bottom directing the reader to 1950 births. I'll let someone else fix it. NavyVet6989 (talk) 21:05, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
