Matt McClead was born on December 11th, 1987.... He soon devoloped an interest in older music when he was younger and soon got into the band Led Zeppelin... Matt also had an uncle who played drums and to this day still does... Matt would play around on his uncles drum set and little did he know when the year 2003 rolled around he would have a drumset of his own to play on... The first lesson Matt recieved was from his uncle Byron... and this all important lesson was when playing... lay into the groove of the song.. Matt toke this advice very serouisly and ever since Matt has found that playing along to any song is simple to him... In Early November of 2003 A band known as Green Pool formed.. and the lineup at the time was Aaron Melhorn on guitar , Alex Maurer on Guitar, Matt McClead on drums, and Brian "Donkey" Dominik on bass... this lineup soon changed When good friend Adam Diotale got himself a second hand guitar in a pawn shop... actually he got a PRS Standard 22 and a Marshall Full Stack.. but hey whatever works right? ... Adam soon join green pool and peeled the varnish off everyones guitar at band practice... With his shredding techniques that he implied on songs like paranoid... And soon the band was finally born.. you know the rest of the story right? I dont feel like telling it to you... Matt went to florida and recieved his final lessons from Byron.. There wasnt anything else for Byron to teach him... Later about 4 weeks after returning from Florida Green Pool Played its first show with bands known as grindskull... sound docorine... and angelface... the show proved to be awesome indeed.. and Green Pool Hopes to continue playing shows with such hits as elevator and Demise....
