My name is Eric Jones. A quick history: In my early teenager years I felt a deep interest in technology. In the early 1990's I owned a Commodore 64. Later, I dumpster dived for parts to build my own computer. My first interaction with a true operating system was MS-DOS running Windows 3.0 on a 386 computer. I learned Novell-based networking while assisting the network administrator in middle school. I later starting using Linux as my main operating system in the late 90's. I have over the years managed every version of Windows and many distributions of Linux.
In 2008 I enlisted into the United States Air Force Security Forces, the law enforcement and security arm of the Air Force. I performed many duties in Law Enforcement and Security operations. I deployed several times. During the end of my enlistment handled a multitude of information systems as I had the experience prior. I left the military in 2015, a decision I do regret at times. I officially returned to the IT field shortly after as a Systems Engineer.
I have dabbled in Wikipedia for over a decade. I was very active at one point but due to life I have been very limited on time. I continue to make small edits where necessary. If you have any questions or inquires about my edits please let me know in my Talk page.
