Talk:Political virtues
I seriously wondered at first whether this might be a candidate for deletion. At first sight it didn't seem to contain much, just a single point (perhaps even an opinion) made by a single author, expressed in a single book, with neither the book nor the author having Wikipedia entries of their own (at least not yet). And the page has existed for some months now.
However, there are an awful lot of links from other articles to this page, most of them with no sign that they have ever been edited by whoever created this page. So it's possible that this is a useful stub. If it's a standard term in political science, for example, it could be expanded with the views and usages of other authors. I don't have the expertise to even tell, let alone do it.
It's also possible, even likely, that this contributor has since created a userid (and if so, welcome). But if that's true, it's also possible that at least some of these many links are their own work too, and I havn't investigated that possibility.
It seems to have been their first try at an article, which may be why the stub warning wasn't standard, and contained no link.
All this considered, all I've done for the moment is to fix the stub warning. The page may be a candidate for other action such as listing on Pages needing attention, I leave that to more experienced hands for the moment. Andrewa 16:38, 3 Oct 2003 (UTC)
- I will be merging these pages as recommended. Given that noone has replied to your proposal for over two years, it's evidently a non-event. Vorpal Suds 00:09, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
