haymarket riots/anarchism template/may day

I'm confused, you seemed to be a vandal from the haymarket riots and anarchism article, but as I'm rolling through your earlier edits, they seem to be actual edits which contribute to wikipedia.

Did you want to remove the template because you didn't believe the riots were intrinsically connected to anarchism, and that is why you also blanked the template? haymarket changes

There is no grounds on which to claim the Haymarket Riot for the anarchists, any more than it would be right to attribute May Day exclusively to communists, or John Brown to Anti-Racist Action. I removed the glaring anarchist logos, etc. and the designation that "This is Part of the Anarchism series," because the Haymarket Riot is universal across the Left. I did not do it to be a vandal.

There were many different types of people involved in the Haymarket incident. The basic thrust of this refusal to link Haymarket to anarchism stems from the fact that Haymarket, like the Paris Commune, is used as a historical core by both communists and [anarchists]]. So I fail to see how it is appropriate to attribute Haymarket to an "Anarchism Series."

PLP

The Progressive Labor Party (USA) entry is getting very dense. Why don't you divide it up into subheadings to help clarify things for the reader? DJ Silverfish 01:16, 21 Apr 2005 (UTC)

There was an attempted slandering of the PLP in its definition article earlier today, so I've spent some of my time cleaning that up. What I can do is try to determine the best headings for various parts and group things together more cohesively; then if others have better titles and/or suggestions, they're free to input.
