Parody on Oconee County
[edit]http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Oconee_County,_South_Carolina Courtesy of Uncyclopedia, the parodical online encyclopedia, whom had an article on Oconee County. It did stated a real estate boom in the late 1990/s/early halves of the 2000's brought in many wealthy newcomers to move to Oconee County, or the Southern version of "the O.C." to mock very wealthy/affluent counties of Orange County, California as well Orange County, Florida and Orange County, New York. But the majority of residents are in the federal poverty range, a common trait of rural underdeveloped regions of Appalachia regardless of recent economic booms. Uncyclopedia tends to exaggerate things about articles with jokes, twisted facts and misinformation. 71.102.3.122 (talk) 22:40, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
