User talk:Ameno
Hi Ameno, welcome to Wikipedia! I spotted your contributions to Tuareg — it's good to have some more detailed info on how the Tuareg see their territory. Refer to the link under 'welcome' above for an introduction and some things you should know as a Wikipedia editor. I hope you'll stick around! If you need any help, you can always contact me on my talk page! Kind regards, — mark ✎ 20:50, 30 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Wikipedia - Tasanayt Tilellit
[edit]Hello Ameno,
I can definitely help you with this!
First of all, what do you propose as the scope for this Wikipedia? By this I mean, will it just be for Tamajaq, or will it be for all Tuareg dialects, or even for all Berber dialects?
Second, I will help you make a request to the mailinglist.
Once your request is accepted and a Tamajaq Wikipedia is created, we can go from there.

Tuareg Wikipedia
[edit]Hi Ameno,
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.
The answer is YES, you can write it in Tifinagh, as long as you use Unicode: http://fixedsys.org/~node_ue/fonts/ -> download & install MPH 2B Damase, and you should be able to see the following: ⴰⴱⴲⴳⴴⴵⴶⴷⴸⴹⴺⴻⴼⴽⴾⴿⵀⵁⵂⵃⵄⵅⵆⵇⵈⵉⵊⵋⵌⵍⵎⵏⵐⵑⵒⵓⵔⵕⵖⵗⵘⵙⵚⵛⵜⵝⵞⵟⵠⵡⵢⵣⵤⵥⵯ

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate your contributionsto the Akoubounou article, but since this is the English Wikipedia, we cannot accept text in other languages. However, if this is an original article, perhaps you would like to translate it into English.
If you want to contribute in a foreign language, your contributions are more than welcome at a Wikipedia in that language (find it in the list of Wikipedias). If you wish to have an article from a foreign-language Wikipedia translated into English, make a request at Wikipedia:Translation.
You may also enjoy becoming a part of Wikipedia's effort to coordinate across different languages.

Tuareg edits
[edit]You've provided some interesting and surprising background in the Tuareg article... I don't know anything at all about the Tuareg people, but since so few people here do, I was worried you might be someone pulling a prank on us. How could people use Venus to decide when to milk goats? How could people build shelters in acacia trees? I actually asked a question on the Humanities Refdesk about it [1] because I was actually thinking someone from the area might speak up and tell me it wasn't true, but it sounds like I was wrong. There's a lot of stuff you've said that doesn't turn up on search engines at all except in copies of your own writing here on Wikipedia, but someone looked further and observed that some of it really does match up with what other sources have said, so I should apologize for my suspicion.
If you can point readers to any further reading, or provide a bit more explanation for some of the things you've written there, I think it would be very helpful. I certainly mean you no disrespect, and I don't want to discourage your efforts. Wnt (talk) 03:54, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Amghar (title) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Amghar (title), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. scope_creepTalk 12:46, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
