[edit]Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.-— Preceding unsigned comment added by Rambot (talk • contribs) 02:09, 27 July 2003 (UTC)
This is an excellent article. I lived in Story county during my youth and remember it fondly. For a long time, I lived in Kelley, Iowa, a small town just south of Ames. I recall being told that Kelley had been the county seat for a brief period of time, but that is not mentioned in this writeup. Is this bit of oral history incorrect, or too minor to warrant mention? - Bits such as that are important for history sections, but you'd need to find a reliable source to include it here; even if we know something is true, posting it without such a source is considered original research, which isn't allowed. If it really was the county seat, however, it might not be the hardest thing to prove. Nyttend (talk) 00:39, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
