Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/How to cook oysters
How to cook oysters was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was to delete the article after transwiki to Wikibooks.
It's already been added to wikibooks. See: b:Cookbook:How to cook oysters. -- [[User:Bobdoe|BobDoe]] 08:18, 14 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- If transwiki'd, then delete. Possibly ... don't know how folks will feel ... you could tag it for speedy after explaining that the transwiki had taken place. Geogre 16:17, 14 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Has all of this been merged with oyster? [[User:Rhymeless|Rhymeless | (Methyl Remiss)]] 05:31, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- I didn't see a need to add all the details of the methods listed (which is really just a subset of the possiblities, actually), but I did add the additional methods (EG roasting, pickling), and a link to the Wikibooks cookbook article, within the "Oysters as edibles" section. - Articles which have been successfully transwiki'd are eligible for deletion as a normal part of that process. (See section Transfer from main to transwiki, the third sentence of which reads "The original page may be deleted as soon as it has been moved to the transwiki area.") These articles do not require VfD discussion or even speedy delete tagging. Rossami (talk) 06:38, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep as redirect. Intrigue 04:16, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Agreed, a redirect is best. --L33tminion | (talk) 02:08, Nov 19, 2004 (UTC)
