This is a great expression : "too much money spending chasing too few goods"
Any idea who said it first?
Controversy over demand pull inflation
[edit]This is very much a keynesian theory and is contradicted by the monetarists who describe systemic inflation as something that's entirely a function of too much money being created by the banking system. This article needs to be expanded to make it more clear that it's a contested theory and not a consensus accepted fact. TMLutas (talk) 17:21, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
Needs work by an expert
[edit]Does not explain this model of inflation coherently, and it references the graph, which should be helpful, without describing or defining terms, or what the graph represents. Should be marked as a stub, and require an expert to elucidate. However, I expect the appropriate solution would be to have a single entry describing the various causes or types of inflation under the Keynesian model allowing for fuller explanation.
