Hi. My original interest was to use Wikipedia to develop intuitions about physical and chemical phenomena that I don't understand. I'm particular interested in emergence and related issues. I started on the Phases of Matter page, where I became confused immediately. I left a comment hoping for clarification.

I'm now interested in Wikipedia as a social phenomenon — as are so many other people. I have a continuing interest in open source platforms.

I created and am the primary editor of Debora Shuger, my domestic partner. I also contributed this section to the page on Unintended_consequence, a subject that interests me greatly. (See 461/Museum_of_unintended_consequences Museum of Unintended Consequences.)
