Move
[edit]Shouldn't we move this artcle to Polish Authonomous District rather than leaving it under present, unofficial, name..?Halibutt 09:42, 25 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- Yes, I've already thought of putting both Marchlewszczyzna andDzierzynszczyzna under the same article, since their fates are basically the same. HOwever I am not sure what term to use: district, region, province, or oblast. The word "district" is used to translate the Russian term rayon. However I don't remember Russian official national subdivisions smaller than oblast, which was often translated as "region", and it can be the source of the confusion. (Polish texts use the term "rejon", but there are some hints that "oblast" was meant). Therefore a correct term of choice could be Polish Authonomous Oblast. Mikkalai 17:43, 25 Mar 2004 (UTC)
