Details of later models added, minor edits to earlier info. ajf 01:26, Apr 30, 2005 (UTC)

Added xda Neo, xda Trion and photos for all models. richardlai 01:22, June 04, 2006 (GMT)

Added XDA IIs, although couldn't find suitable picture. --F355 10:41, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

On the entry of O2 mini - I need to confirm whether it is correct. The O2 mini should have only 64MB RAM and 64MB ROM, officially. There are 3rd party companies willing to bump your RAM up to 128MB, but no official units have ever been sold with that much available. (Anonymous)

Missing models

[edit]

Shouldn't the XDA Terra be added? Supposedly it's a HTC Herald.The Seventh Taylor 15:00, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And what about the XDA Argon and XDA Cosmo mentioned in the High Tech Computer Corporation article? The Seventh Taylor (talk) 21:17, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Be bold and add them (if you have information about them). ~~ [Jam][talk] 11:49, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The name Xda

[edit]

Anyone know where the name Xda comes from? It looks like an acronym, but is always printed in mixed case. Strange. --Jon186 (talk) 00:27, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Found out here and added to article. --Jon186 (talk) 20:28, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New Models

[edit]

I've added details of the two soon-to-be-released XDA models as there seems to be enough evidence across the internet of their brand names and equivalent HTC models. O2 themselves are already selling accessories for both XDA models which confirms their 'XDA names' and there are pages like the following which link the XDA name to the HTC equivalent:

http://www.intercitydata.com/news/2008/07/o2-launch-of-xda-mantle-in-july.html

http://www.globalcertificationforum.org/Application/onlinecertification/terminalinfo/?terminalId=1427

If that's not enough evidence and someone wants to rip this section out again then fair enough. 62.189.108.219 (talk) 09:31, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually it seems that O2 have added the Mantle to their official line up now so I've added a proper link to the O2 site for that one. That should probably also be moved to the 'current handsets' section now that it's official, I'll do that later if I get time. 62.189.108.219 (talk) 09:37, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

XDA Diamond or Ingito

[edit]

I saw O2's version of the HTC Touch Diamond in an O2 shop in Germany and it was branded "O2 XDA Diamond" -- not Ignito. Does the branding differ per country (e.g. Germany vs UK)? The Seventh Taylor (talk) 15:15, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I already found the answer here: Talk:HTC Touch Diamond#XDA brand: wrong name -- The Seventh Taylor (talk) 12:27, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Current in 2012?

[edit]

The "current" models listed were released in 2008. Are there really any current Xda models or should this article by put into the past tense? --Pelago (talk) 14:35, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. The Seventh Taylor (talk) 21:24, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Windows versions

[edit]

It would be great if somebody could add the Windows version for each model, notably the ones before Windows Mobile 5.0. The Seventh Taylor (talk) 23:51, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I did work on developing and optimize the GPRS network foe O2 that time was one of 3 engineers on xda HTC project
