English 6-2-0

The article says "On a trip to England, Robert L. Stevens, president of the Camden and Amboy (C&A) railroad, saw demonstrations of 6-2-0s on the railways there." I have done extensive reading on the English loco developments, but have never heard of an English 6-2-0. If someone has a reference I would be very pleased to hear about it. British and American sections contradict?

The British section is adamant only one locomotive was ever made. The American one uses the plural when discussing British 6-2-0s. Which is it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.254.202.225 (talk) 19:48, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think what Stevens saw was large-wheeled Cramptons eg probably 4-2-0 but I'll have to check up. 07:45, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
