Who were they
[edit]Reggie Miller, Karl Malone, John Stockton... and two other NBA Greats were named "the crownless kings" on an NBA telecast. These players were leaders in their field (points, assists, etc.) yet failed to win a ring before they retired. Anyone have a better memory than I do (and a link to a more concrete piece evidence of said quote)?Pakopako 15:50, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
Personal life
[edit]Any resistance to a mention notable events of his personal life? Married to model Marita Stavrou from 1992-2001. His house in Indianapolis burnt in 1997. Miller hosted a local weekly teen-themed TV show in Indianapolis. Group29 (talk) 15:45, 10 March 2008 (UTC)"he's so awesome!" (Jim Stephens(whiteland , IN)
Ridiculous use of the SAT prep book
[edit]sobriquet = LOL. Whomever wrote that is a tool. Lecollye (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 05:43, 26 November 2009 (UTC).
agreed - any objections to me changing this to "nickname"? I'm not just saying this because I had to look it up (which I did), but because it doesn't really fit. Surfbruddah (talk) 15:49, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
Inaccuracy in article?
[edit]Under the NBA Career section, ohh happy days last paragraph states "Over his 18-year NBA career, Miller made over $105,000,000 in salary, playing in 1,389 games for the Pacers, sixth-most in NBA history and second-most for a player who spent his career with only one team."
But then under Achievements, it says: "Miller played more games with the same team than all but two players in NBA history, John Stockton and Karl Malone of the Utah Jazz."
So which is it? Is he second or third? Zeroality (talk) 23:59, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
The first quote is referring to the amount of money he made during his career. The second quote is talking about the number of games played in his career. Xxavyer (talk) 04:20, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
